Featuring a dedicated dual-GPU workstation for Local LLM inference (llama.cpp, Hermes Agent), Synology 1522+ NAS for data storage, and UniFi networking (UCG Max, U6 Pro).

Key Features

  • Engineered an on-premises AI workstation with dual RTX 5060 Ti GPUs (32GB VRAM total), Ryzen 7 9700X, 48GB DDR5-6000, and a 14,900 MB/s PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD for high-throughput local LLM inference (LM Studio, Unsloth, Hermes Agent).
  • Configured a dedicated point-to-point 10GbE direct interconnect (E10G22-T1-Mini) between the workstation and Synology DS1522+ for wire-speed NFSv4.1 mounts, separating bulk data from the LAN.
  • Architected tiered Btrfs storage: fast SSD mirror (Volume 1) for Docker runtimes and code repositories, backed by 32TB Seagate IronWolf Pro enterprise HDDs (Volume 2) and NVMe read/write caching.
  • Integrated line-interactive Eaton 5S UPS power protection for NAS & KVM over USB HID for automated volume unmounting and safe shutdown.
  • Deployed GL.iNet GL-RM10 Comet Pro hardware KVM-over-IP for out-of-band remote BIOS administration and recovery.
  • Established Zero Trust network architecture using UniFi Cloud Gateway Max (2.5GbE VLANs), Tailscale mesh VPN, and Cloudflare Tunnels—eliminating public port forwarding entirely.
